Prior to founding and setting up Tungsten Capital Management GmbH, Henning was a Partner of Ferox Capital Management Limited, London, and was, besides other duties across the firm, responsible for its German operations. The German branch, which Henning established and ran, was mainly dedicated to the management of European long/short equity strategies. The German branch office had portfolio management, trading and research functions.

Prior to joining Ferox Capital Management, Henning spent twelve years at various investment banks (Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan, DRKW, Deutsche Bank), trading, structuring and selling emerging markets debt, convertible bonds and structured credit products. Henning’s style is to use derivative overlays to enhance the risk / reward of the investment portfolio.

He holds degrees in European Business Studies from the ICADE, Madrid, and the European School of Business, Reutlingen.
